Hey guys!

I’m back with part II of the Zoya Summer collection 2012, Surf!

Surf Collection by Zoya

I love glitter/shimmer on the nails and this combined with the punchy, bright colours, made for some intense shades.

Actually, all the colours in this collection had a foil finish; not chunky glitter but there is a prominent thread of silver flowing through the formula.  These were all well pigmented and I used 2 coats for all of the swatches.  This formula was thicker that the ones from the Beach collection, so I would suggest working quickly before they dried out and got a little gloopy.  These polishes will stand out on the beach!

First in this collection is Carly – a dark, plum and silver and purple foil mixed in.

I was actually a little surprised with this colour selection, as I thought that this one is kinda dark for what I prefer for fall.  I would rock this in September though.  And my humblest apologies! Lots of swatching and very, very dry hands! 🙁

Kimber – is a bright, fuchsia with silver foil.

Kimber

A beautiful colour, very vivid.  I think it’s a cool toned pink, with some blue undertones.  I think this colour would look amazing on every skin tone, because it is so bright!! Love it!! I wore this as a pedicure colour.

Rory – a pale pink, with a prominent silver and pink foil glitter running through the colour.

Rory

A pretty colour, but I like something with a little more punch!

Myrta – A fiery, reddish-orange with red and gold foil glitter.

This is what I’m talking about!! Love it!!! An outstanding colour for those of us with deep skintones!! Also I think this would work well with anyone who has a warm skintone.

Meg – a leafy, green with silver foil glitter.

Meg

It’s like the louder, more glittery sister of Tracie from the Beach collection.  There is not a lot of blue in this colour, so it’s not very intense, but still a soft, beautiful colour!

Zuza – The last of the collection and this is one of my favourites!! You know I love a blue nail polish!!

Zuza

A medium-dark, bright, turquoise with silver and turquoise foil glitter.  It is a lot more blue than my collection fave Wednesday but they work well together.

Definitely check out the Surf and the Beach collections.  They are available online from Zoya for $8 each.
