Mini Stila haul and swatches!!!

So as I previously mentioned, I did a little damage at IMATS and picked up a few items from Stila Cosmetics.

So the first things I went for were the Long Wear Liquid Lip Color.  Felicia from ThisThatBeauty rocks Fiery, a deep red matte lip colour ALL OF THE TIME! And it looks great on her, so course  I had to have it.  I met Bethany Townes and she was wearing a gorgeous fuschia colour and it turned out to be Caprice. Here are the swatches:

Then my attention turned to Stila’s summer collection and their brand new Sparkle Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner.  These are listed as waterproof and they have a prominent shimmer.  I really loved this!  Coming in an array of 8 colour, they are definitely a great addition to your summer makeup arsenal.  Great for humid days and can be worn alone or in combination with shadows etc. Now, I swatched most of the colours (I was missing the purple one, which is gorgeous!!):

From left to right:

• Sequins – black but not jet black
• Starry – pewter
• Bora Bora – bright electric blue
• Rock Candy –  smoky, chocolate brown
• Curacao – dark blue
• Electric – blue-green

All colours have a multi-coloured micro glitter that feels smooth to the touch.  These stayed on..and on…and on!!! I applied these around lunchtime and they were still going strong at 10 pm.  Other people tried to rub it off and they did not budge.  My favourties were.  The packaging is the same as other liner that have come out, including the M.A.C. Superslick Liquid Liner.  Slim case with a pointy, felt tip applicator.  I have not problem using this, but it does take some practice.  Just take your time.  I bought Starry, but that won’t be my last purchase.  I highly recommend these.  Available now at stilacosmetics.com and later on at Sephora and retail for US$22.00.
