Zoya’s Irresistible Collection is a bold, rich metallic take on summer. The colours are bright, pigmented, but slightly deepened and they would transition well into the autumn. And because of the metallic/foil finish, it is irresistible to me! All the polishes are on the thicker side and all have a very intense, dense glitter that dries down to a foil finish that feels smooth to the touch. I applied 2 coats for each swatch, which gave full coverage in most of the colours. Three of the colours are cool/silver-toned
and the other 3 are warm/gold-toned.
Here are the swatches!
Rikki
Rikki – a leafy green polish with silver, metallic glitter. This is not super deep, nor is it pastel coloured. Just in-between, medium toned. The green does not stand out against the silver glitter, so the colour is not as intense as the other polishes. I would say that the green and the silver colours are evenly balanced. Nice colour.
Hazel
Hazel – an icy blue polish with silver, metallic glitter. This is very cool toned and actually you see more of the silver than the blue. This is the least ‘pigmented’ of the group.
Bobbi
Bobbi – a fuchsia/raspberry coloured polish with silver metallic glitter. This has better pigmentation than Hazel and more intensely coloured than Rikki. This deep pink colour predominates and the silver colour acts more like a foiled accent. This is also cool-toned. Pretty colour and I like this one a lot!
The next three colours in the collection, in my opinion are the better half of the collection. I loved all three of these. They were very pigmented, shiny, metallic, golden and warm! This really evoked summer to me!
Tinsley
Close up
Tinsley – this looks just like the foiled version of my favourite Zoya nail polish of all time, Reece. Reece is shimmery while Tinsley is metallic/foil finished. This is a gorgeous rose gold polish with gold shimmer. It’s more deep rose that gold. This one might be in the top 5 all-time Zoya fave. It’s such a simple colour, but sooo beautiful, sooo pretty! This colour would look amazing on all skintones.
Amy
Close up
Amy – a fiery, burnt orange polish, with gold foil/metallic shimmer. Another gorgeous colour!! This is pretty much a true orange colour and the gold shimmer makes it look 3D, but the deep orange colour is vibrant and is predominant. This looks gorge on deep and dark skin and I love this as a pedicure colour. I could also see this colour transitioning well into the autumn.
Kerry
Kerry – an 18K yellow gold foiled nail polish, with gold shimmer. This is a deep yellow, golden colour. It’s quite a warm colour that I think is a great alternative to the typical gold that you see. For reference, Zoya Ziv is more golden/brown, cooler and less yellow. Another amazing colour for dark skin!!
I really, really loved this collection. I would have actually liked to see a white version with a pale gold metallic finish. But that’s just me! J The latter 3 polishes are standouts to me and just when you thought they have done it all, Zoya brings out more colours in innovative finishes. I think that the foil finish is my absolute favourite finish!
Definitely check this collection out. Available now at Zoya’s website. $9 each, and don’t forget they are Big 5 Free!
