NARS Makeup Artist James Kaliardos created this look for Rodarte at New York Fall Fashion Week 2011. The designers drew inspiration from the great Vincent VanGogh.

“It’s a really beautiful, round smokey eye, with gradations of blue, it’s like Starry Night and then there’s this beautiful lavender lip, complemented by warm skin.”

This collection comes out tomorrow, Sept 15th in the US and Canada and in October internationally. It is already being sold online at maccosmetics.com as well as other online retailers, such as Nordstrom.
This is a limited edition collection featuring some classic items, paint pots and mattene lipsticks. Needless to say, I will be ALL OVER this collection! I love the versatility of the paintpots to be used as an eyeshadow base or as a cream eyeshadow. I have one or two of the original Mattene lipsticks, so that I am anxious to see what this new batch has to offer.

So J. Lo has been making a comeback and she is one of the latest spokespersons for L’Oreal. I saw this ad in a magazine for L’Oreal Colour Riche le Gloss, where the look was very glossy and smokey.

She has been rocking the heavy, defined, black liner with thick, dense lashes on magazine covers and other ads.
Anyway, here she has pointed liner, peachy-bronzey eyeshadow, peach lips, full brows and full lashes.
