Hey!

Today’s post is picture heavy! This is my annual visual recap of The Makeup Show NYC. Once again, an amazing event, with a slightly different mix of brands this year. I was able to discover some ones and attend classes from some artists that I have never seen live before. I also got a sneak peek into some new products that are coming out soon and I will be bringing it here on the blog!

Special shoutout to all the people that I met, all the artists, owners and organisers of this event. I continue to be inspired by beauty and innovation!

What did I see  at The Makeup Show NYC?

I have broken down the event into a number of categories….

 Product

There were new waterproof product launches including from Make Up For Ever, BlackUp Cosmetics and Danessa Myricks Beauty.  I will be doing a review on some of the items that I picked up

Education

I love that there was a seminar on Men’s grooming.  Yes the male model in the baseball cap is wearing makeup, but it is virtually undetectable!

Body Painting/Art

Loved all the body art!

Keynote Speakers

Jordan Liberty

I have been following Jordan for a few years now. He makes makeup look so clean and easy. I am really glad to see him doing well! Can’t wait to see what other work he’ll do with Urban Decay.

Moises Ramirez

I was introduced to this artist and was completely blown away! And love that fact that he very much into many different forms of visual arts and loves mixing tools for the craft store in achieving his looks. I am enamoured with his use of vibrant colour and texture both on skin and on canvas. Definitely check him out.

See you next time!
