Having spent years in the shadow of the gooey lipgloss, lipsticks have roared back to the forefront and matte lipsticks have been at the centre of the trend! Â This year, bright, bold matte lips were all over the runway and in every magazine and the trend continues into the autumn/winter. Â Years ago, dark, vampy, matte lips were routine but they got a bad reputation because they were often very drying, accentuated any cracks in your lips and generally not comfortable. Â Fast forward to now and the formulas have been revamped. Â Conditioners have been added to these densely pigmented lip products to make them a lot more wearable.
NYX just recently launched a new line of matte lipsticks in 22 colours. Â I ordered 2 of them to start wih from beautyjoint.com and I paid $4.99 each.

Typically, M.A.C. brings out a couple of large collections during the summer and one of them usually includes a mineralized collection. Â For the newbies, mineralized makeup usually contains natural minerals in a powdered form and may be baked into a solid form. Â It is touted as being better for the skin and there are less additives and binders that hold the particles together. Â These products can be used both dry and wet which is different from typical pressed powder products.
Here is some information about M.A.C.’s newly released Semi Precious collection. Â It is available from July 7 in the US and Canada at M.A.C. stores, counters and online. Â Available internationally later on in July.

Here is a bright look for the summer! Â I used one of the most popular colours for the season, coral, but made it wearable for everyone with a light application. Â Of course, you can intensify the look by adding a bright liner on the lower lashline, like green, gold or turquoise.
