Here is a bright look for the summer! I used one of the most popular colours for the season, coral, but made it wearable for everyone with a light application. Of course, you can intensify the look by adding a bright liner on the lower lashline, like green, gold or turquoise.
Here’s my mini haul! As per usual, M.A.C. brings out a summer collection that I love. Large collection, with many components, so there is something for everyone. Very bronze and very bright.
Anyway, did not get much, just some must-haves for me! Still thinking about some the lipsticks and the stick bronzers (although they remind me of the NARS multiples).
My favourite season!! Love bright colours and bronzed looks! I usually like/get excited for the M.A.C. summer collection and this one does not disappoint. M.A.C introduces some new items and repromotes some others.
Collection comes out officially in North America on May 26th. All info courtesy of Specktra.net. Photo via M.A.C.

One of the most requested looks is the neutral, everyday look. Something that makes you look polished for work. I used my trusty Naked Palette from Urban Decay, but you can use any neutral, close-to-your-skintone colour. I chose shimmery, bronzey makeup, but you could also use champagnes, taupes, pale pinks, whatever works for you!
Last Friday I had the privilegde of attending the launch of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics’ new line of tinted moisturizers called OCC Tint. This event took place at the Wonderland Beauty Parlour in the Meatpacking District. What a great way to start off the weekend, playing with makeup!
OCC continues to expand its OCC Skin product line (they introduced a line of vegan brushes this year) and this time they have focused on lightweight makeup suitable for today’s hi-definition standards.
According to OCC:
OCC Tint, our hand-applied tinted moisturizer boasts an unparalleled amount of adjustable coverage, available in a wide range of ultra-moisturizing shades that look as great in person as they do in close-up on HDTV and in a hi-res digital photograph. This alternative to airbrush application is already a Make-Up Artists’ favorite, recently field-tested by the Artists at OCC during New York and Los Angeles Fashion Week.
