This is basically a collection of subdued colours.

Lipsticks

Front Lit (Frost) – very pale whitish yellow
High Strung (Frost) – very pale pink with a white/silver frost
Lovin’ It (Lustre) – light beige with shimmer
Hold the Pose (Lustre) – Medium tone plum colour with shimmer
Full Body (Lustre) – Deeper reddish plum with shimmer

Last Tuesday, I went to the sneak preview of the Fall’09 collection by MAC: The Make-up Art Cosmetics collection. This event took place at the MAC boutique in SoHo. As usual, this was a fabulous affair by MAC! There were hors d’oeuvres and wine of course, and in addition, you could have had your portrait drawn! I did not get one done as the line was out the door!

Heads up!! A new addition to the Covergirl LashBlast line is coming soon! Starting August 17, Covergirl has a limited quantity available for purchase of its newest mascara, LashBlast Length. I am always looking for long, clump-free lashes and it looks like this new mascara will be a fierce competitor to my favourite mascara of the year – Maybelline’s Lash Stiletto! The brushes appear to be very similar in shape which makes me really want to try it. This mascara is not due out in stores until September and is supposed to retail for about $7. Order at Lash Blast Length.
