For the past few weeks, I have been discussing on the blog, different options to waterproof your makeup. Now time to put it all together! This waterproof makeup tutorial uses some of my favourite products and brands, and some that are new to me. A graphic blue liner look! I kept the rest of the look simple and neutral. This can be worn with your Carnival costume or if you are just feeling a little bold! Of course you could chose the liner colour of your choice. And take your time!
So lehwe go!

Again looking at brands that specifically offer waterproof or water-resistant makeup. Also, there are a lot of longwear products available now, especially for lips, but this does not necessarily mean that they are also waterproof.
So here’s my list of readily available waterproof makeup products for face and lips.
Welcome to the first installment of the “Summa Soaka” Series! Here, the focus is waterproof makeup! Pretty much every beauty brand has at least one waterproof or water resistant product, which is usually a mascara. The next upcoming posts will highlight brands that do much more that that. Some of these lines have entire collections dedicated to waterproof makeup. These options are great for brides, those who live in hot and humid weather or if you are going to Carnival in Trinidad or Brazil!
In this post, I will discuss the brands that offer the best waterproof eye products. Check out the video and all products mentioned are listed below.

In one of my more recent videos, I wore a very simple, soft smokey eye. The smokey eye. One of the, maybe the most popularly requested eye look. It evokes a certain mysteriousness and sexiness. It can take many forms, use a variety of colours, not just black. This one is going to be simple and slightly smokey. A rose gold inspired, summer smokey eye makeup tutorial. Great for daytime, when you want just a little sumthin sumthin! It also works as a summertime look when you don’t want so much intensity. I used neutral colours with golds, but you can greens, navys, purple, be creative!
